Cohera in Los Angeles is seeking a Design and Development Manager to lead the full proposal process for high-impact programs, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and vendors to deliver creative, on-brand experiences.

The role requires six years in hospitality (three in proposal writing/destination management) with strong budgeting, writing, and communication skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years work experience, including three years in hospitality.
• At least one year experience in proposal writing, event design, creative marketing, or destination management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal process—from concept to delivery for high-impact programs.
• Accurately scope, price, and document all program components (décor, venues, staffing, activities).
• Coordinate vendor outreach and onboarding; manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align content with client expectations and destinations.
• Maintain timelines, documentation, and quality across proposals and site visits.
