Job summary

Knoll store in New York seeks a Design Specialist to blend design sensibility with consultative selling, representing brands like Herman Miller and Knoll. You will build lasting relationships with clients and the local design community, reporting to the General Manager to drive store success.

You’ll deliver personalized design consultations, guide product selection, and manage the full client lifecycle using CRM tools while maintaining high visual standards and staying current on design trends.

Qualifications

• Design-savvy sales professional with a passion for modern interiors.
• Experience in retail sales or design consulting preferred.
• Background in interior design or architecture preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and design tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by delivering personalized design consultations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and trade professionals.
• Meet and exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
• Guide clients through product selection, space planning and styling.
• Manage client lifecycle using CRM and outreach.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Stay current on product knowledge and design trends.
• Conduct in-home consultations and attend off-site meetings.
