MillerKnoll is seeking a Design Specialist to blend design sensibility with consultative selling, delivering exceptional client experiences in our California store. You’ll work with renowned brands and contribute to the store’s success alongside a dynamic team.

You’ll drive sales through personalized consultations, guide space planning, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge while staying active in the local design community.

Qualifications

• Design-focused sales experience preferred.
• Experience in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success.
• Background in interior design or architecture preferred.
• Strong client needs assessment and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and design tools such as SketchUp or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized design consultations to meet client needs.
• Build relationships with clients, trade pros, and the local design community.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs.
• Guide clients through product selection, space planning, styling.
• Manage client lifecycle using CRM and outreach strategies.
• Maintain visual merchandising and store aesthetics.
• Stay current on product knowledge and design trends.
• Conduct in-home consultations and attend off-site trade meetings.
