Job summary

Natuzzi Italia in Houston seeks an experienced Design Consultant to drive luxury sales and deliver an exceptional client experience. You will engage clients, conduct in-home consultations when needed, and present tailored design proposals aligned with Natuzzi Italia products and brand aesthetics.

The role emphasizes design literacy, technology use for concept visuals, and collaboration with architects and interior designers to achieve sales goals and KPIs in a premium retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury home furnishings or interior design preferred.
• Sales experience in luxury or high-end retail is desired.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales and provide an exceptional client experience in-store.
• Engage clients, prospect for new business, and coordinate in-home consultations.
• Present projects, write quotes, and follow up with clients.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Natuzzi Italia products and trends.
• Meet or exceed store sales goals and KPIs.
• Collaborate with trade partners such as architects and interior designers.
• Utilize design technology to illustrate concepts and proposals.

About the Role

About the roleOur experienced Design Consultants are trained interior design and retail professionals, who are passionate about luxury home furnishings and collaborating with our clients to transform their living spaces.Our Design Consultants are responsible for generating sales and providing an exceptional experience to all customers consistent with the Natuzzi Italia brand.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Client Engagement & Sales Generation:The Natuzzi Design Consultant is an entrepreneurial minded individual, preferably with a design background who is curious, driven and excited to work in a luxury retail setting.
• The Design Consultant will prospect for new business on a regular basis with the expectations of regular in-home consultations as well as consistent outreach and contact with our Trade Partners (realtors, architects and interior designers).
• The Design Consultant should be project-focused, technologically savvy and knowledgeable on current design trends.
• The Design Consultant should be warm, friendly and approachable for clients.
• The Design Consultant should be comfortable presenting projects, closing the sale, writing a quote and following up with clients.
• This person should develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Natuzzi Italia products.
• This person will be expected meet or exceed store sales goals and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience:Previous experience or education in the luxury home furnishings industry, interior design, sales or architecture preferred.

Required Skills

• Design technology experience highly preferred (AutoCad, Sketchup, 3D Rendering etc).
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Retail Experience or Client-Facing Sales Experience a Must.
• Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills.
