The role includes hiring and developing the design team, managing appointments, and advising clients on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects. Collaboration with store leadership is essential to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Design education is required or six years of interior design experience in lieu of education.
• 3–5 years of leadership or management experience is required.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with residential and professional customers.
• Hire and develop a dynamic design team with performance evaluations.
• Greet customers and support design walk-ins.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone, and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects from inquiry to installation with clear communication.
