Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations expertise to lead complex projects in the energy sector. You will develop scope, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with engineering and field teams to ensure successful delivery.

You will manage change, risk, and client communications, review invoices, and mentor less experienced PMs. This role requires travel up to 10% and a strong background in design-build practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with budgets and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as needed.
• Coordinates submittals and technical coordination with engineering teams.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
