Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Construction Project Manager Intern/Co-op (Summer 2027). This role provides exposure to the full lifecycle of a construction project, from concept through final walkthrough, with mentorship from experienced professionals.

You will learn estimating, scheduling, design meetings, bidding, permitting, shop drawings, and site visits, while building industry knowledge and leadership skills in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited civil, mechanical, architectural, construction management, building science, or construction engineering program.
• Driver’s license required.
• Excellent verbal communication and strong attention to detail.
• Previous co-op or intern experience in construction preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support full project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Assist in estimating, takeoffs and preparing project proposals.
• Help develop and manage project schedules with subcontractors.
• Attend design meetings with owners, engineers, and architects.
• Shadow DBMs on site visits and progress reporting.
