Job summary

Clayco seeks an on-site Superintendent for our national Mission Critical Business Unit to supervise field operations, ensure safety and quality, and manage design/build projects from $20M to over $200M. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines and ensure projects meet schedule and cost objectives.

The role requires flexibility to travel or relocate to job sites, a strong safety record, and a proactive, results‑driven approach to complex builds.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.
• 5-10 years of experience in highly technical commercial/industrial construction management, on projects of 50+ million, ideally with design-build experience.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency. Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects at least 50lbs.
• Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all other project site management team members to assure adequate project resources.
• Supervise construction employees and subcontractors to meet budget and schedule constraints.
• Maintain strong emphasis on safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
• Be willing to travel or relocate to job sites as needed.
