Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead field operations and onsite construction management for design-build projects nationwide. You will ensure quality control for MEP, start-up, and testing while coordinating with diverse teams to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering, 5+ years of experience on 50M+ projects, and a strong safety record. Travel or relocation to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent with progression to mgmt.
• 5+ years in highly technical commercial/industrial construction mgmt on 50M+ projects, ideally with design-build experience.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to stay within budget and schedule.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
• Ability to walk job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding; lift at least 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and onsite construction management of design-build projects.
• Provide quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection; oversee startup and testing.
• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and site management teams.
• Lead supervision of construction employees and subcontractors to meet budget and schedule constraints.
• Maintain strong safety and quality practices on all projects.
• Travel to nationwide projects as required.
