Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Superintendent to provide on-site supervision and quality control for field operations on design/build projects valued from $20 million to over $200 million. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure adequate resources, manage budget and schedule, and uphold safety and quality standards across nationwide projects.

Travel or relocation to jobsites is required, and the role emphasizes collaboration with clients and a fast-paced team environment. A B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.
• 5–10 years of experience in highly technical commercial/industrial construction management on projects of 50+ million, ideally with design-build experience.
• Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality and other site management members to ensure adequate resources.
• Supervise construction employees and subcontractors to meet budget and schedule constraints.
• Maintain strong safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite and work long hours as needed.
• Observe field work and compare to drawings to ensure installations meet specifications.
