Job summary

SEA Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Interior Designer for design-build remodeling in San Mateo, CA. You will lead client presentations, translate design concepts into contracts, and manage relationships from concept to completion.

Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site supervisors to ensure design aligns with budget and schedule. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of interior design experience in design-build firms or high-end residential studios.
• Proven ability to close deals and present project scope and value to discerning clients.
• Strong space planning, finish selection, and construction detailing; knowledge of Bay Area styles.
• Hands-on expertise in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit, SketchUp, rendering tools and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial client consultations and guide clients through contract execution for high-end residential projects.
• Space planning, material and finish selection, cabinetry layout, lighting design, and architectural detailing for kitchens, baths, and whole-home remodels.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site supervisors to align design with budget and construction timelines.
• Act as the primary contact from concept through completion, managing client expectations and selections.
• Source fixtures, tile, stone, cabinetry, and soft goods through local Bay Area vendor relationships.
