Responsibilities include developing floor plans and elevations, producing construction documents, coordinating details, presenting concepts, and ensuring designs meet client goals and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, interior design or a related discipline preferred.
• Experience with high-end residential design, custom homes or luxury renovations.
• Strong space-planning and design-development skills.
• Experience producing construction drawings and detailed specifications.
• Proficiency with Revit design software.
• Strong knowledge of residential materials, finishes, cabinetry, lighting and fixtures.
• Excellent presentation, organization and client-communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Understanding of residential construction and constructability.
• Collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support custom-home and major-remodel projects from initial concept through construction
• Develop floor plans, elevations, design presentations and detailed construction documents

• Prepare client presentations, finish schedules and specification packages

A well-established, residential design-build firm is seeking a talented Residential Designer to join its collaborative team in Saratoga. The company has more than 30 years of experience creating thoughtfully designed custom homes and luxury renovations throughout the Bay Area.

This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys working directly with homeowners and collaborating with architects, construction professionals, vendors and internal project teams.
