SEA Construction, Inc. is seeking a residential interior designer to lead design-build remodeling projects in San Mateo, CA. You will guide clients from concept through contract, presenting confident design concepts and closing deals while ensuring budget alignment.

Responsibilities include space planning, finishes, cabinetry layouts, lighting, and detailing for kitchens, baths, and whole-home remodels, collaborating with PMs and vendors to source materials locally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years interior design experience in design-build or high-end residential studios.
• Proven ability to close deals and upsell design services to discerning clients.
• Strong space planning, finish selection, and construction detailing.
• Knowledge of Bay Area architectural styles and Peninsula market trends.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit, SketchUp and rendering tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead initial client consultations and articulate design visions with authority.
• Present design concepts and guide clients through contract execution.
• Manage space planning, finishes, cabinetry layouts, lighting, and detailing.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and site supervisors to align design with budget and schedule.
• Own client relationship from concept to completion and coordinate material sourcing.
