Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Project Manager I to lead design-build/engineer-procure-construct projects, overseeing engineering, design, procurement, scheduling, and construction management teams. You will supervise field operations and manage prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders on complex energy infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, with strong customer liaison, reporting, and value engineering duties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Construction Project Management, with direct DB/EPC projects in the power delivery industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
• Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in transmission, distribution, and substation work.
• Experience with contracting methodologies, planning and management tasks and activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated DB/EPC teams from inception through completion.
• Direct engineering design, procurement, scheduling, and construction management activities.
• Oversee prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental goals are met.
• Coordinate with customers for communication and satisfaction.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Mentor junior staff and enforce internal standards and procedures.
• Prepare progress payments, values, and change management.
• Administer close-out and warranty activities.
