Job summary

Quanta Services seeks a Project Manager I (PM I) to lead design-build/engineer-procure-construct projects. You will supervise engineering, procurement, scheduling, and construction teams, manage prime contracts, and coordinate field operations on assigned projects.

The PM I will ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance, provide cost and schedule reporting, and mentor junior staff across engineering and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 5+ years’ experience in Construction Project Management, with direct DB/EPC projects in the power delivery industry preferred.
• Must be well versed in engineering, design, construction, and contracting methodologies, as well as project planning and management tasks including, but not limited to, engineering, estimating, scheduling, bidding and administration of prime contracts.
• Familiar with safety, quality assurance, change management, and environmental practices within power delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software; Primavera P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages integrated Design-Build/Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams from project inception through completion.
• Oversees engineering design and construction activities to meet customer goals and safety standards.
• Administers the prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders; manages budget and schedules.
• Coordinates stakeholder communications and reports on progress, risks, and cost forecasts.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental plans; mentors junior staff.
