Job summary

ARCO/Murray in Dallas, TX is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with an engineering background to guide a design-build project from start to finish. You will handle estimating, scheduling, cost reporting, and coordination with owners and design teams, while ensuring safety and quality.

You will work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concepts, participate in scope-review meetings, and oversee subcontractor buyout and site meetings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field.
• Open to fulltime opportunity post grad.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer project aspects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and progress billing.
• Coordinate design review and cost reporting with owners and the design team.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with the design team.
• Participate in owner meetings to review scope, costs, and value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout and subcontractor selection; conduct regular job site meetings.
• Make decisions under tight deadlines and manage multiple activities to achieve targets.
