ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Charleston, SC, seeks a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to oversee full lifecycle from concept to completion. You will gain exposure to estimating, scheduling, design coordination, cost control, and on-site leadership alongside experienced professionals.

The role demands collaboration with clients and design teams to turn preliminary ideas into buildable solutions, lead subcontractor selections, and drive on-site communication to keep projects

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited civil, mechanical, architectural, construction management, building science, or construction engineering program.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred, but not required.
• Experience in construction preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project facets from estimating to proposal development, overseeing schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
• Prepare detailed, reliable estimates for project execution.
• Partner with clients and design teams to shape concepts into buildable solutions.
• Participate in meetings to refine scope and costs, offer engineering insights.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout.
• Facilitate bi-weekly site meetings to align teams and track progress.
• Provide calm leadership for tough decisions.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor processes to maintain high standards.
• Turn client input into actionable outcomes.
