Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Charleston, SC seeks a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to lead projects from concept through final walkthrough, coordinating estimates, schedules, quality control, design coordination, and cost tracking.

Collaborate with clients and design teams to develop buildable solutions, manage subcontractor buyouts, lead on-site meetings, and drive decisions under pressure while maintaining scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Lead every facet of the project from estimating to proposal development.
• Deliver accurate, reliable project estimates.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Influence scope and cost through proposals.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout.
• Drive bi-weekly on-site meetings to align teams.
• Make confident decisions under pressure to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to stay aligned with scope, schedule and budget.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement.
• Turn client feedback into measurable results.
