Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Charleston, SC is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager to lead project lifecycle from concept through final walkthrough. You’ll own estimating, scheduling, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, and proposal development while guiding teams and maintaining quality.

Collaborate with clients and design teams to turn preliminary concepts into buildable solutions, participate in scope refinement, and oversee subcontractor selection to ensure cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Lead project facets from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety and proposal development.
• Prepare detailed, reliable project estimates for successful execution.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to translate concepts into buildable solutions.
• Participate in proposal meetings to refine scope, reduce costs, and provide value-driven insights.
• Lead subcontractor selection to ensure top-tier talent and cost efficiency.
• Facilitate bi-weekly site meetings to align teams and resolve challenges.
• Make decisions under pressure with calm, focused leadership.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to keep scope, schedule and budget aligned.
• Monitor processes to uphold quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Transform client feedback into outcomes that exceed expectations.
