Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Contracts Specialist to administer contracts across multiple industrial and large commercial projects. You will draft, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements, review vendor contracts, and support project teams in evaluating obligations and risks.

Collaborating with procurement, legal, and accounting, you will ensure compliance with insurance, bonding, and project requirements while maintaining logs and procurement tracking throughout execution.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of contract administration or subcontract management experience in construction.
Experience with multimillion-dollar projects preferred.
Knowledge of AIA, Consensus, EPC, Design-Build, and GMP contract structures.
Familiarity with ERP and construction management platforms.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

Administer contracts and subcontracts for multiple projects in mechanical, plumbing, process piping, and systems construction.
Review, draft, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements, vendor contracts, and other agreements.
Support Project Managers and Operations in evaluating contractual obligations, risks, and compliance.
Ensure subcontractors meet insurance, bonding, and project-specific compliance standards.
Maintain contract logs, subcontract registers, and procurement tracking reports.
Coordinate with legal, risk management, and executive leadership on complex contract matters.
Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance throughout project execution.
Support procurement for major equipment and materials and assist with project closeout.
