Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a Communications Manager for Mohawk Group to develop and execute public relations and communications strategies that enhance brand visibility, reputation, and engagement across multiple channels. The role requires a deep understanding of the design industry, media landscape, and storytelling to reach key audiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6-8 years writing and public relations and/or communications experience.
Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for design and storytelling.

Responsibilities

Implement strategic and measurable public relations programs to increase brand awareness and leadership positioning in key audiences.
Manage PR agency/agencies to execute product press launches and events, editorial calendars, and pitches.
Lead development of messaging, press releases, media alerts, FAQs, etc. to support business objectives.
Cultivate relationships with media partners, advertising vendors and manage media buys and campaigns.
Update and manage media reports and metrics, reporting results to leadership.
Develop and implement communications plans across channels and support content development including copywriting, articles, blog posts, and newsletters.
Collaborate with marketing to reflect the brand voice and align efforts across teams.
