Turner Construction Company in Des Moines seeks a Quality Assurance - Quality Control Manager to lead the project-specific QA/QC plan, coordinating with the project team, owner/architect, and contractors to deliver a fully compliant project.

You will supervise QA/QC staff, ensure ethics and safety, manage documentation, RFIs, tests, and inspections, and drive continuous improvement through project close-out and quality reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of construction field/engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, contract documents, and codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan with the project team.
• Lead QA/QC staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Ensure adherence to ethics and compliance throughout the project.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subs for compliance.
• Manage RFIs, document control, and change order tracking within budget.
• Conduct testing and inspections; arrange third-party testing as needed.
• Oversee project close-out and quality reports.
• Remove non-conforming materials/work and document corrective actions.
