Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Indianapolis area is seeking a QA/QC Lead responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the project-specific QA/QC Plan to deliver projects in full compliance with contract documents.

Lead QA/QC staff, ensure qualified personnel, and collaborate with project teams and external partners; ensure adherence to ethics and safety plans throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years' experience in construction.
• Knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and materials.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Turner's project management software and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• QA/QC certification may be required depending on project.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and develop the project QA/QC Plan in coordination with the project team, owner/architect, and contract documents.
• Ensure sufficient, qualified staff to execute the plan.
• Maintain relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance.
• Lead, supervise and develop QA/QC staff; provide input on performance appraisals.
• Implement QA/QC Plan in line with the project safety plan.
• Conduct testing and inspections and arrange third-party testing; analyze results.
• Document non-compliant materials/workmanship and corrective actions.
