Job summary

Axis Energy Administration LLC is seeking a Derrick Hand to join a 4–5-person workover rig crew in Williston, ND. You will handle elevated work on the derrick, tubing board, and rod basket, with strict fall protection and safety procedures.

You will assist in rigging up/down, perform routine maintenance, and support other rig operations under supervision. The role requires climbing to heights of 50 feet or more, driving the crew truck when needed, and working a 12-hour shift in a field

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver license with acceptable MVR; CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Derrick hand experience; 2+ years workover rig floor experience.
• Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist operator in rigging up/down and lining up the well service rig.
• Perform elevated work on derrick, tubing board, and rod basket with fall protection.
• Maintain and service derrick structures or components.
• Support other workover rig functions as directed by Tool Pusher or Rig Operator.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance issues; follow Axis safety programs.
