Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. is seeking a Derrick Hand to join a 4-5 person workover rig crew.

You will perform elevated work on the derrick up to 50 feet, maintain rig components, and assist in tubing and rod handling while following safety procedures. The role requires 1 year of Derrick hand experience and 2 years on workover rigs, a valid driver license (CDL A/B preferred), and the ability to work a rotational schedule with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year Derrick hand experience and 2 years workover rig floor experience.
• Valid state driver license; CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist rigging up and down and line up the well service rig.
• Perform elevated work on the derrick up to 50 feet or more with fall protection.
• Maintain and service derrick structures or components.
• Assist in tubing and rod handling, and rig floor operations.
• Report safety hazards and follow Axis safety programs.
