Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Mohs Credentialed Medical Assistant for our Dermatology Clinic in Northwest Portland. You will work with a team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians to provide high-value care tailored to patient needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, scheduling, and EMR tasks, with a focus on exceptional patient experience and teamwork. Eligible candidates have Dermatology or Mohs exposure and current CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Mohs or Dermatology Surgery experience is a plus.
• Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients, and prepping for examinations.
• Assist with procedures and specialty-related tests/monitoring.
• Schedule appointments for new and established patients as needed.
• Use EMR to process prescriptions, retrieve test results and patient files.
• Update records as needed and support overall patient care in the department.
