Job summary

Community Health Network is hiring an Associate Patient Access Representative for Dermatology in the North region. You will be the first contact for patients, handling registration, scheduling and financial clearance to ensure a smooth visit.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 1+ year healthcare office experience, and strong customer service. Proficiency in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency registrations, plus CMS verification, will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years experience in healthcare office setting with strong customer service background.
Proficient in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency registrations.
Completes Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers in a timely manner.
Verifies CMS standards and communicates coverage and eligibility to patients.
Accurately identifies and enters patient demographics, insurance, and financial information.
Confirms completeness of the electronic health record (EHR) and makes necessary changes.

Responsibilities

First contact for visitors, handling customer service, patient registration, and financial clearance.
Includes check-ins, scheduling, payment collection, and insurance verification.
Ensure adherence to guidelines and maintain compliant workflows.
Prepare patients administratively and financially for visits.
