Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatologists during patient visits. The role involves rooming patients, documenting vitals, assisting with procedures, and providing post-operative wound care in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of med office experience and certification as a CMA, LPN, or RN advantage. Travel to other clinic locations may be required. Forefront offers comprehensive benefits and employee growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information.
• Scribing information for the dermatologist.
• Providing post op wound care to patients.
• Drawing blood and suture removal.
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs, Biopsies, Exisions, Electrodessication and curettage, I&D, Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, Phototherapy, Injections, Koh preps, Trichograms, Tzank preps, Dermabrasion, Patch testing, Blue light.
