Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology visits, room patients, and assist with procedures. The role requires scribing, wound care, phlebotomy, and keeping exam rooms prepared and stocked. Travel to other clinic locations may be needed.

Ideal candidates have CMA, LPN, or RN backgrounds and strong computer/EMR skills, with a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field.
• CMA/LPN/RN credentials preferred; non-certified MA must complete Forefront Derm Tech program.
• Willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information for the dermatologist.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist and provide post-op wound care.
• Draw blood, perform suture removal and assist in exam room setup.
• Clean, stock exam rooms and schedule patient appointments.
• Assist the dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery and phototherapy.
