Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology visits, rooming patients and assisting the dermatologist with a range of procedures. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, scribing, and wound care.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in a medical office, CMA/LPN/RN certification, and are comfortable traveling to other clinic locations. Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Must possess organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information.
• Scribing information for the dermatologist.
• Providing post op wound care to patients.
• Drawing blood and suture removal.
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
