Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to accompany the dermatologist during patient visits and support a friendly, efficient clinical flow. This role involves rooming patients, scribing for the dermatologist, wound care, phlebotomy, and assisting with Mohs and other procedures.

The position requires CMA/RN/LPN training or pursuing Forefront Derm Tech certification, and travel to other clinic locations may be required. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or DERM Tech a plus.
• Maintain current state certifications, licenses and registrations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post-op wound care to patients.
• Draw blood and suture removal.
• Clean and stock exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery, phototherapy, injections.
