Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology visits. You will room patients, assist the dermatologist with a variety of procedures, and manage post-procedure wound care and phlebotomy.

Travel to other clinic locations may be required, with emphasis on maintaining sterile, organized exam rooms. Ideal candidates have CMA certification or are in the Forefront Derm Tech program, with 1+ year medical office experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a medical office preferred.
• MUST maintain state certifications and licenses.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Forefront Derm Tech path required.
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document all vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post op wound care to patients.
• Draw blood and perform suture removal.
• Clean and stock the exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
