Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the dermatologist during patient visits. You will room patients, document vitals, and assist with scribing to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow in a busy dermatology clinic.

The role includes post-op wound care, phlebotomy, suture removal, and room maintenance. Prior medical office experience and familiarity with EMR systems are preferred; travel to other clinic locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Post High School Education in a Medical Support Field: CMA/LPN/RN preferred.
• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Must possess organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documenting all vital information.
• Scribing information for the dermatologist.
• Providing post op wound care to patients.
• Drawing blood and suture removal.
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
• Assist in dermatology procedures: biopsies, Mohs surgery, excisions, injections, and more.
• Capture surgical photographs and other in-room tasks.
