Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatologists during patient visits, room patients, document vitals, and assist with procedures. You will help maintain a friendly, efficient clinic flow and high-quality patient care.

Candidates should have 1+ year in a medical office, CMA/LPN/RN options, and be comfortable using EMR systems. Travel to other clinic locations may be required. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs
• Biopsies – punch, DIF and shave
• Excisions
• Electrodessication and curettage

• Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery
