Job summary

Waccam Dermatology, LLC seeks a General Dermatology Medical Assistant to support providers and staff in delivering exceptional patient care. You will directly interact with patients, prepare exam rooms, assist in surgeries and biopsies, and scribe during visits. The role requires CMA/AAMA/RMA/CCMA certification or EMT certification, high school diploma, BLS preferred, and strong EMR/EHR and MS Office skills.

The position offers Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Completion of a technical/vocational training program with CMA/AAMA/RMA/CCMA certification
High school diploma or equivalent required
BLS CPR certification preferred
Experience in a high-volume medical setting with ability to read/write/interpret medical terminology
Scheduling flexibility to work morning/afternoon four days per week
Strong commitment to patient care and customer service
Positive energetic attitude
Excellent organizational and time-management skills under pressure
Proficient with EMR/EHR and MS Office tools
Scribe/Document for the provider while in the room

Responsibilities

Assist Providers/Reps/Coordinators/Managers in delivering expert medical care
Interact with patients: greeting, intake, room setup, assisting in surgeries and biopsies, scribing during visits
Handle day-to-day tasks: faxing, answering messages, stocking rooms, filling syringes, sterilizing instruments
Deliver the clinic's mission of state-of-the-art patient care
