Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Florida is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a 36-hour work week. The role supports the dermatologist, rooms patients, performs wound care, blood draws, suture removal, and EMR documentation.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and CMA/RN credentials preferred, with experience in a medical office and proficiency in software. Travel to other clinic locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-high school medical support education preferred (CMA/LPN/RN).
• 1+ years in a medical office preferred.
• Comfort with EMR systems and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information.
• Scribe for the dermatologist during visits.
• Provide post-op wound care to patients.
• Draw blood and remove sutures.
• Clean and stock exam rooms; schedule appointments.
• Assist dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery, injections, and related dermatosurgical tasks.
