Qualderm Partners in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with providers to support patient care and help keep the practice running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, MA certification is preferred, and prior clinical experience is highly desirable. Strong dermatology terminology knowledge, excellent communication, and EHR proficiency are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Previous MA experience or clinical setting highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, especially dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication; maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with EHR and basic office apps.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and rooms.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and handle specimens.
• Maintain patient records.
• Coordinate scheduling and office communications.
• Educate patients about treatments and skincare.
• Keep examination rooms clean and stocked.
