Pinehurst Dermatology in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with providers to support patient care, prepare patients for examinations, and help keep the practice running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (MA certification preferred) and prior clinical experience. Strong communication, confidentiality, and familiarity with EHR are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA certification preferred.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting highly desirable.
• Knowledge of dermatology terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and office communications.
• Educate patients about treatments, medications, and skincare.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
