QualDerm Partners LLC in Monroe, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to support physicians in medical dermatology, skin cancer care, and cosmetic treatments. This on-site role involves preparing patients, assisting during exams, maintaining rooms, and handling basic lab tasks with a patient-centered approach.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA certification preferred, and experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and staff.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office applications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Preparing patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Assisting providers during examinations and procedures.
• Preparing instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
• Conducting basic laboratory tests and handling specimens for analysis.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential patient records.
• Coordinating patient scheduling and office communications.
• Educating patients about treatments, medications, and appropriate skincare.
• Keeping examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
