QualDerm Partners LLC in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will prepare patients, assist with examinations and procedures, and help manage records and scheduling in a fast-paced dermatology practice.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA certification preferred, experience in clinical settings, strong communication, confidentiality, and comfort with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in clinical settings is highly desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, especially derm-related.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic office applications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and office communications.
• Educate patients about treatments, medications, and skincare.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
