QualDerm Partners in Monroe, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to support physicians, take vital signs, prepare patients, collect specimens, and maintain records in a dermatology-focused clinic.

Responsibilities include assisting with examinations and procedures, scheduling, patient education on treatments and skincare, and ensuring rooms are clean and stocked. Prior MA experience and dermatology terminology knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare environment desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly dermatology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with EHR and common office software applications.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and detailed medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and dermatologic procedures by providing support and equipment.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection and handling.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments and facilitate communication within the practice.
• Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
