Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Glenview, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time role. You will accompany the dermatologist in the room, room patients, and help create a friendly, efficient environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, drawing blood, scribing, and managing exam rooms. Strong medical-office experience and EMR proficiency are preferred; requires HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Post-high school medical support training; CMA/LPN/RN preferred.
• Experience in a medical office and proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital information.
• Scribe for the dermatologist during visits.
• Provide post-op wound care to patients.
• Draw blood and remove sutures.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and supplies.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist dermatologist with procedures: biopsies, excisions, injections, phototherapy, and related techniques.
