Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the dermatologist in-room, room patients, document vitals, and help maintain a smooth visit flow for patients and staff.

The role requires experience in a medical office, CMA or equivalent certification, and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office. Travel to other clinic locations may be required; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Must possess organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documenting all vital information.
• Scribing information for the dermatologist.
• Providing post op wound care to patients.
• Drawing blood and suture removal.
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.
• Scheduling patient appointments.
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as:
• Biopsies, Exions, I&D and Mohs related tasks.
• Phototherapy, injections and related dermatology procedures.
