Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology visits in a fast-paced clinic. You will room patients, document vitals, and assist the dermatologist with procedures in a collaborative team setting.

The role requires a CMA or related medical support education, with experience in a medical office and comfort with EMR/Office software. Full-time schedule with standard weekday hours is offered, with benefits appropriate for staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent; Forefront Derm Tech certification program may be required.
• Proficiency with computers including EMR systems and MS Office; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and recording vital information.
• Scribing for the dermatologist during visits.
• Provide post-op wound care and draw blood; sutures removal.
• Assist with procedures: biopsies, Mohs surgery, injections, patch testing, etc.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
