Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Dermtech program certification preferred.
• Active CPR certification required.
• Willing to use nursing skills and learn dermatologic procedures.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
• Must be able to lift 20 lb and occasionally 50 lb.
• Proficient in basic medical math and accurate documentation.
• Strong communication with patients, providers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform HPI updates, and review systems.
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures; assist providers.
• Take medication histories and input data into charts.
• Assist with suture removal and post-op wound care instructions.
• Triage calls and manage messages; ensure timely follow-up.
• Document patient visits, orders, and education per protocol.
• Support providers during exams and assist with procedures.
