Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners seeks a friendly Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced dermatology clinic. You will enter patient histories, assist with exams, and help prepare biopsies and labs while delivering compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a medical office, familiarity with electronic medical records, and strong communication. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within a expanding dermatology network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
• Medical Assistant training required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prep the patient for examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist the Physician/Provider in the room by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms, stocking the rooms.
• Laboratory maintenance including cleaning and autoclaving instruments.
• Other duties in the back office as assigned.
