Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant in Springfield, MO to support dermatology physicians. The role involves rooming patients, scribing for the dermatologist, and assisting with procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

The position requires CMA or equivalent certification and 1+ year medical office experience. Full-time, with schedule Mon-Thu 7am-5pm; travel to other clinic locations may be needed. Forefront offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information

• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms

• Biopsies – punch, DIF and shave
