Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology physicians during patient visits. You will room patients, document vital information, and assist the dermatologist with procedures and wound care in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires a CMA or similar medical-support credential and prior medical office experience. Strong computer skills and teamwork are essential for success in this onsite position.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as: biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, injections, Koh preps, patch testing, blue light
