Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs with clinical and clerical duties. You will manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and document vitals and medications in the EHR.

The role requires a Medical Assistant program certification or equivalent, a high school diploma, and strong English communication. BLS is preferred; Polish language skills are a plus. This position may involve travel to satellite offices as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.
• Bilingual in Polish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians, PA, or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, and patient care.
• Prepare examination rooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Record vital signs and update medications in EHR accurately.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient communications per guidelines.
