Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Plano, TX is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant for part-time shifts at multiple locations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Assistant training required; CMA preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years of experience in a medical office, dermatology preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist physician/provider in room and scribe notes in the medical record.
• Set up biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures as needed.
• Prepare and collect samples, notify patients of results, schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies; clean instruments and assist with lab work.
• Other duties as assigned to the back office.
